?The Apple Mouth bit has a plastic mouthpiece that, on contact with saliva, releases a subtle apple flavour. This stimulates the horse to produce more saliva, which makes it easier for the horse to accept the bit. At 14 mm the mouthpiece is relatively narrow and is therefore well suited to horses that have less space in the mouth.

?This double-jointed full cheek snaffle has a plastic mouthpiece with a metal core and stainless steel rings. Thanks to the combination of flexible plastic and high-quality stainless steel the bits are stable and yet particularly soft and kind. The plastic has a hardness of 90A and is FDA-approved. That means the material is free from solvents, contains no plasticisers and is also non-toxic. The anatomical design follows the shape of the horse's mouth and creates soft and even pressure distribution.
??The cheeks create pressure on the cheeks, which places emphasis on steering aids and ensures that the bit cannot be pulled through the mouth. These properties make this bit a good choice for young horses. A full cheek snaffle can be driven with cheek straps; this keeps the bit in the right place and creates a slight leverage effect.
